Concession Stand Follow-up
I know we had some families who were unable to attend the parent meeting (all parent meeting information is below), so I wanted to make sure to cover our concession plan again. We are using this sign-up sheet to allow each of our families to have some choice in which dates work best throughout the season. After losing a handful of home games with concessions early, we are down to 123 total concession spots. Using the suggestions listed below, we should have that covered without asking too much of anyone.
I am a big believer that if everyone does a little, no one does a lot. We had several families who were originally signed up for far more than their fair share, so that has been adjusted on the sign-up sheet.
Hopefully, we can all jump in quickly to get all of this covered so that it is taken care of and we can focus on some more baseball!

Using the suggestions listed below, we should have that covered without asking too much of anyone.
- We are asking that each of our families cover THREE open spots throughout the year (Ex. Player X’s mother AND father work a JV game on 3/28. Player X’s family is only responsible for one more spot for the entire season.)
- A family with a pair of brothers is still only responsible for THREE open spots total (not per player).

Parent Meeting Information
Thank you again to everyone for coming in for the Parent Meeting. It was great for members of the coaching staff to see old friends and make some new ones! For anyone who couldn't make it out, the presentation from the meeting can be viewed below.
Here are a couple of notes/reminders as we head into the second full week of the season.
1. The Hourathon is set for Friday, February 24. Our first check is this afternoon; players should have sheets filled out and ready to go! Here is the fundraising form.
2. The Mojo Sports Team Store is open! The store will close THURSDAY morning at 9 am (per the store site). If you need to know the needed items (can come from anywhere), see the slide on the presentation below.
3. The concession stand sign-up sheet can be found here.
4. Weather pending, we will have a work day (for anyone who can make it out) Saturday starting at 9:00. It is our hope that we can get our entire facility ready for the season by the end of day Saturday.
5. All players will practice from 3:45-6:00 each day this week (Friday will be later for the Hourathon.)
